Creative Problem Solvers

In the last science class, second graders were asked to build a ramp for a ping pong ball. Students worked in small groups to design a ramp. They shared ideas, used trial and error to solve problems with their ramp, and communicated ways to improve their design. The science classroom was filled with questions and ideas about how to change their design to make it more effective.
